They're same as the Yellows as far as the comp plan. In the same comp plan,

Color To Success Part II

Following is a brief synopsis of our training:

Yellows
Yellows make up 35% of the population. They are nurses, schoolteachers, UN
workers … the nurturers. They give from the heart. They don't have time for

themselves, because they give to everybody.
Yellows have built some of the largest organizations in network marketing ...
WHEN they have the belief they can do it.

How To Sponsor A Yellow
To color your way to the top, you need to learn to be a chameleon.
Yellows don't want to be sold. They don't like pushy, aggressive salespeople.

When you talk with a Yellow, become a Yellow. Slow the pace. Contain your excitement.

Lower the volume. Yellows see excitement as hype, you trying to sell
them. Don’t tell a Yellow about making $10,000 a month, because they’ll turn
right off.

Instead, visit with them. Skip the business. Talk about their family, their kids,

their vacation.
Yellows cannot work in stair step breakaway-type compensation plans. They

have to be in a plan where you can put people under people and people under
people. They’re best in any kind of “infinity” plan that pays them to work deep,
deep, deep.
They’ll never be happy in a unilevel or a stair step breakaway plan where you

put 5 people on your front line, until you hit a certain volume amount, then you

put another 5 people on your front line, etc.
Success in this plan requires all your time spent on massive
first level recruiting. This doesn't work for Yellows.

MLM industry stats show the average network marketer only ever sponsors 2.7
people.
So if your Yellow sponsors 3 people ... if they have to go 5 wide, then they

haven't done anything. But at 2 wide, then they can put 1 of their 3 underneath

somebody.
And other average people can sponsor 3.

Now you've got some spillover. And then here and there you get a serious business-

builder who sponsors 8 or 10 people a month, and you get more spillover.
When more people work together, you get more synergy. So THAT compensation
plan works great with the Yellows.

It’s the result of what he called the spider web effect. People who build webs tend to be lucky. People who don’t build webs tend not to be lucky. In other words … the more contacts you make in life … the more relationships you build … the fewer bridges you burn … the greater the universe of people who have strong positive feeling for you … the more people you reach out to help … the more likely you are to be lucky. Hey friends, Frank LooSer here Just wanted to share an unpleasant experience I just had with STAMPS.COM while trying to discontinue my account. It took almost 20 minutes and 2 phone calls because they do not provide a web based method to discontinue service. They force you to call them and then instead of simply closing your account they waist your time trying to sell you on keeping the account open. As a business we strive to be prudent and keep our office expenses low. When we made our decision to close our STAMPS.COM account it was given careful consideration based on our business needs. STAMPS.COM has been a great asset in the past but is no longer necessary to meet our business objectives. I hope to make other business owners aware of the waited time involved in closing a STAMPS.COM account. Maybe in the future they will offer their customers a hassle free painless online solution to closing an account like most e commerce businesses do. Have an awesome day my friends.

NANNING - A crackdown on pyramid schemes in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region is leading to an exodus of scam artists from the area.
Pyramid schemes have been rampant in Guangxi, due to the convenient traffic, low expenses and loose regulations. The number of pyramid sellers in Guangxi has been estimated at more than 2 million, with billions of dollars involved, according to a report from Southern Weekly.

The number of passengers at the railway station in Laibin, a city known for rampant pyramid schemes, soared from 200 to more than 800 on Sunday night, according to a report from China National Radio.
Many sellers have found other ways to flee.

So far, authorities in Guangxi have detained 768 suspects and sent another 1,900 pyramid-sellers back to their hometowns during the campaign, which has destroyed 19 pyramid dens.
Pyramid schemes - in which new members pay a fee with the hope of collecting a windfall if they convince enough people to join as well - have been banned since 1998 and are synonymous with cheating and fraud. More.

The Federal Reserve went back to Jekyll Island, Georgia off the coast of Savannah to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the infamous 1910 Jekyll Island meeting that spawned the draft legislation that would ultimately create the U.S. Federal Reserve. The title of this conference was "A Return to Jekyll Island: The Origins, History, and Future of the Federal Reserve", and it was held on November 5th and 6th 2010 in the exact same building where the original 1910 meeting occurred. In November 1910, the original gathering at Jekyll Island included U.S. Senator Nelson W. Aldrich, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Department A.P. Andrews and many representatives from the upper crust of the U.S. banking establishment. The History of Blythewood Masonic Lodge, No. 395, A.F.M.

Blythewood Lodge, No. 395 A.F.M. had its inception on the night of December 3, 1959, when seven local Master Masons, namely; H.P. Legrand, T.W. Sharpe, Jr., W.J. Ballentine, Herbert Ballentine, Robert W. Loner, James C. Davis, and H.B. McLean, Sr. met in the Agent’s office of the local Southern Railway Station. The purpose being a general discussion of the possibility or feasibility of organizing either a Masonic Club or a Masonic Lodge in the Blythewood are.

After lengthy discussion and expression of opinions, it was decided to call a meeting of the interested local Master Masons to meet at the Blythewood Community Center at 8:00 p.m. on December 8, 1959 for further discussion. Twenty six Masons were present at this meeting. H.P Legrand was elected moderator. H.B. McLean, Sr. was elected secretary. Brother Legrand stated that the purpose of the meeting was for a general and open discussion about the possibility of organizing a lodge of Master Masons in the Blythewood area. It was stated that a number of Masons holding membership in lodges at Ridgeway, Winnsboro, Columbia and elsewhere in the state had indicated a keen interest in organizing a Lodge in the area.

A committee to contact Ridgeway Masonic Lodge, No. 30 A.F.M. to inform them of our action and to solicit their help and sponsorship in the event a new Lodge is chartered. A majority of our members at the time were in Ridgeway Masonic Lodge. J. Louie Frick, Hubert W. Stricklin and E.B. Cooper were appointed.

The first meeting to elect officers was held at 8:00 p.m. on January 13, 1960 at the Blythewood Community Center. Thirty five Masons were present. The following officers were elected and appointed:

R.W. Loner, Senior Warden

H.W. Stricklin, Junior Warden

H.B. McLean, Sr., Treasurer

Horace W. Shealy, Secretary

James C. Davis, Senior Deacon

H.R. Norton, Junior Deacon

T.W. Sharpe, Jr., Steward

B.S. Boney, Tiler

The first meeting was held under dispensation on February 2, 1960 at which time the Dispensation was presented to the Lodge by Hugh N. Layne, Deputy Grand Master and Rev. Henry F. Collins, Grand Lodge Secretary. Both were acting for the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina.

The Lodge was duly chartered by the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina on April 28, 1960, as Blythewood Masonic Lodge, No. 395 A.F.M. with 45 charter members. Their previous membership was in the following Lodges: Winnsboro Masonic Lodge, 1, Ridgeway Masonic Lodge, 30, Richland Masonic Lodge, 2, Acacia Masonic Lodge, 2, Sinclair Masonic Lodge, 2, Abney Masonic Lodge, 1, Columbia Masonic Lodge, 2, Anglo-Saxon Masonic Lodge, 1, Eau Claire Masonic Lodge, 3, Earlewood Masonic Lodge, 1, and Broad River Masonic Lodge, 2.

The History of the name Freemason

The history of the name for a Mason carries one back through strange and unfamiliar territory.

Six and one half centuries before speculative Masonry began in the reign of George I, the word mason was brought to England by those great builders, the Normans. The English term is derived from the Old French masons (Modern French Maçons) and this goes back to the medieval Latin machiones, of which Isodore of Seville (who died in A.D. 640) explained that the masons were so called from the machinae (scaffolding) on which they had to stand because of the height of their walls.

With classical Latin we encounter an entirely new set of words: structor ("a builder" later lengthened to constructor); caementarius ("Maker of a rough ashlar," or caementum, from caedo, I cut); and latomus ("stone-cutter", a word borrowed from the Greek). Classical Greek had at least four words for 'mason,' based on two words for stone, las and lithos. They were latomos and lithomos (both meaning "stone-cutter"); latypos ("stone-striker") and Lithourgos ("Stone-worker").

Remembering that in II Samuel, Ch.5, v. 11, King Hiram "sends masons" to King David (This is earlier than his more familiar help to King Solomon), I looked up the Hebrew text to find what the original term was. It turned out to be a triple compound, haraash-ebhen-qir ("Cutter of stone for a wall"). Unlike the scaffolding of the mediaeval machiones, the term in Latin, Greek and Hebrew are aptly related to Speculative Freemasonry.

But stone-masonry did not originate in either Tyre or Jerusalem, not as late as 1000 B.C. Its beginnings were rather in Egypt, around 3,000 BC, when it was created by the genius Imhotep. I therefore turned to Dr. Wallis Budge's Egyptian Language (London, 1922) to find the hieroglyphic sign for a stone-mason. It is pronounced "hus", and shows a worker with bared arms and lower legs, standing beside a three-foot wall and testing it with a plumb-line! He even seems to be wearing an apron. He is a striking anticipation of Amos, 7:7, in a hieroglyphic that goes back to 3,000 BC., or 2,000 years before that prophet. In the Jerusalem Bible, more accurately translated than the King James Version (Bro. Kirconnell's personal opinion expressed here), verse 7 of Chapter 7 reads: "This is what the Lord Yahweh showed me: a man standing by a wall, plumb-line in hand." In other words, what the Lord showed to the prophet Amos of Tekoa in this third vision was a fellowcraft mason at work, as carved by the Egyptians on obelisks and pyramids almost 5,000 years before our time.

The Junior Warden may well take pride in his symbolic jewel!

Lodge Hiram #7 F.&A.M. will soon be celebrating 200 years of Freemasonry in Franklin, Tennessee. This is a significant historical event for our lodge, our fraternity, and our community. Because so few lodges have reached this milestone, it is important that we properly recognize and celebrate our achievement.

The United States of America is a relatively young nation, and it wasn't many years ago that our country celebrated its own bicentennial. Freemasonry has a profound influence on the birth and development of this nation, and the fraternity's history has been memorialized in may ways in many places.

America's history is chronicled by countless dates and landmarks, but only a few monuments have existed since our nation's birth. In most cases, the people or organizations that erected those monuments are long gone - remembered only with granite and bronze.

Hiram Lodge is different, though. It is unique - a living monument. It is older and more persistent than the bricks and mortar that house its artifacts. The Master Masons who comprise Hiram Lodge can be proud of their long history and continued presence. It would be selfish for us not to share our commemoration.

The Bicentennial Celebration Committee was organized last year to ensure our lodge's 200th anniversary would be a first-class affair. The group is headed by Bro. John L. Palmer, PGM, and is comprised of several subcommittees. The Order of the Eastern Star is also lending its support. The initial preparation is underway, and planning will continue throughout the coming year.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well. To that end, a whole host of events are scheduled for 2009 that will showcase the splendor of Freemasonry to the entire community. The celebration will culminate in a formal gala on October 10, 2009. It promises to be a memorable year, and every Brother Mason will have many opportunities to get involved.

In order for these events to be truly successful, the Bicentennial Celebration Committee is seeking sponsors and donations from local businesses, community organizations, and private individuals, as well as from within the Fraternity. A fraternity is made up of brothers, united by purpose, and dedicated to a goal. Our objective is to raise $25,000 by the end of this year. Each member of Hiram Lodge can help us meet this financial target by:

1.) Making a personal donation to the Bicentennial Celebration Committee,

2.) Providing contacts for other potential sponsors and donors, and

3.) Participating in and supporting the bicentennial events.

Our success is based on the sponsorship, donations, and support we receive.
